    The radiator’s job is to allow heat to be removed from the engine. As hot coolant passes through the radiator it is cooled before returning to the engine, where it absorbs heat and returns to the radiator. This cooling process keeps the engine from overheating.

    We recommend replacing the thermostat and the radiator cap along with the radiator. The radiator hoses should also be replaced if they show signs of age or wear.

    The entire cooling system should be inspected and tested when the radiator is replaced
